More from St Thomas

Relaxing in my apartment with Tim

Out on the balcany

Out on the Waterfront across the street from Del Sol Posted by Hello

These are a few more good pictures from St Thomas. You can see a little bit of the inside of my apartment. As you can see my hair is still lighter, but I just cut it and I am starting to get tips. I think it looks better now. You can also see three big cruise ship behind me. That view I can see from the store. It is starting to get busier here in St Thomas. Coming up here in November we will have alot of days were there will be 5 cruise ships here in the same day. One day we will have 6 in and another day we have 7 ships at the same time. That is crazy 7 ships all in the same day. One of my highlights from work last week was I had a 729 dollar single sale. The couple bought 28 t-shirts all in one purchase.

St John from the ferry Posted by Hello

One of my days off I traveled over to St John. It is just a ferry ride away. I went over there with a couple other interns and we took the car. We stoped at a couple beaches and went snorkeling. St John is a beautiful island. The Island is 3/4 national park and so there is not much over there, making it very nice. It is a great place to go.

Emerald beach Sunday Evening Posted by Hello

Well thought I would post a few more wonderful pictures for everyone to see. As you can see I still have blond hair. All the guys that I am here with are all pretty cool. On Sunday I went to the beach late in the afternoon with Tim. We went to Emerald beach it is a pretty nice beach. We played some Frisbee on the beach one of my favorite things to do. While we were throwing the Frisbee around some little cute kids wanted to play with the Frisbee as well. So we let them play with the Frisbee for a little bit and so we made some new friends, little kids are funny. Then as you can see we also caught a nice sunset.
Hope everyone is doing good. Thinking of you all.

Today was my day off from work. It was pretty nice and relaxing. My roommate Tim and I went into town and looked in some of the shops. There are some cool shops, but man there are a ton of jewelry stores. We went up to this look out point called mountain top and as you can see their is a great view from the look out point. We also got a shake from St Thomas dairies and they were alright.

Late last night I talked to my brother Ryan and he got his mission call I am way excited for him. He goes into the MTC on Dec 15th. He is going to The Houston Texas South Mission. Mom, Dad and Ryan are coming to visit me in paradise Nov 9th to the 14th. I am stoked that they are coming to visit all get to see Ryan before he leaves on his mission. Elizabeth is also working on coming to visit sometime as well hopefully she will be able to make it.

Living In The VIs

Here I am in Del Sol were you just add sun to every thing. OH YEAH by the way I bleached my hair. Posted by Hello

Currently I am experiencing the Virgin Islands. I am living on St Thomas doing an internship for a company called Del Sol from August 21st to Jan. 5th. Del Sol is a retail store that sells clothing and apparel. The neat thing about Del Sol is that all their products change color under the sun. We have t-shirts, shorts, frezbees, hats, nailpolish, hairclips, ....and more that all change color when exposed to the uv rays of the sun. I am a team leader also known as manager of one of the two stores here on St Thomas. I work usually 9 to 5 with a couple days off during the week. It is right on the water front so I can see all the cruise ships that come into the bay. It is a paid internship and so Del Sol pays for everything. They pay for the plane ticket, housing, utilities, food, and transportation. So I don't have much to complain about being able to live in paradise where the weather, water, and beaches are great.

P.S. if anyone wants to learn more about Del Sol go to http://www.delsol.com

Magen's beach is a wonderfull beach it is so sandy and very calm. It has been fun to go to and hang out. There are also other beaches on St Thomas that are very nice as well.
